Late Summer Roaming in

Fairfield, Hocking, Vinton, & Athens Counties, Ohio

August 19-20, 2011

Joe Wagenhals and I ventured to South East Ohio for a couple days of landscape shooting. You never know what you will shoot. This time the sun was harsh but the weather was mild and pleasant. We visited 3 covered bridges, forests, streams, farms and marshes. I tried to do a few images so that I could post process with the HDR tool in Photoshop. Not so sure the effort was worth the result but it was another step along the way. The first 3 covered bridge images are HDR. The two images with a split rock in the forest are also HDR just different parameters (still learning).

Sunset and Sunrise photos are from a recently found location near Adelphi, Ohio. I like sunrise and sunset images so I went a little overboard.
