Niagara Falls - 2015
Fellow photographer, Joe Wagenhals, called one day and said - - - Let's go to Niagara Falls, it's all frozen over. So a week later, Irene Verweij, he, and I ventured 6 hours to the falls, with stops in Buffalo, NY. It was awesome. It was cold. It was frozen in place. Now, you know physics will prevent moving water from totally freezing but as you can imagine, and can see in the images it was very icy.
We stayed at the Embasy Suites, Niagara Falls, Ontario. Our room was on the 21st floor and overlooked both the American falls and the Horseshoe falls. On Thursday we ventured down stream to Niagara-on-the-Lake and over to the Welland Canal. Friday we traveled back to Columbus.
